Strangers Compassion..

I never meet my biological father, we connected via emails and phone for many years and we had built up a wonderful relationship and I felt I knew him well. He passed away in 2005 and I went to Northern Ireland to bury him. As we didn't have much money it was mainly done on credit. My daughter paid for her own fare to accompany me. When we arrived his carer put us up in her home and drove us around which was so wonderful of her. My dads friend Neville took us around Lurgan showing us special places they used to go together and introduced me to all his friends. Even the publican wouldn't let us pay for our meals and in another pub which he insisted we go to for lunch he had the table set with a bottle of Tasmanian wine and once again wouldn't let us pay. I was overwhelmed by their hospitality and the compassion they showed us. I think of them often and keep in touch via email and Facebook. They touched my heart in a way they will never know but in a way I will never forget. Bless them all.
